Reprojecting a point cloud means converting it from one coordinate system to another. This is a common operation in GIS, LiDAR processing and photogrammetry workflows.

What does “reproject” mean?

Reprojection applies a mathematical transformation between coordinate systems. For example, converting a point cloud from a local projection to WGS84 or UTM.
